DANDANA delivers an explosive blend of West African rhythms, Afro Jazz, feel-good synth-driven ambient sounds and raw grooves, drawing inspiration from the rich musical traditions of Senegambian Mbalax and Ndaga styles.
Their music features vibrant instrumental grooves intertwined with a bold commitment to singing in Wolof, the local language, which adds an authentic and captivating layer to their sound.

Third World Nightclub available on vinyl
"Third World Nightclub" (2015) is the debut album, now available on double vinyl. It offers an edgy blend of afro rhythms, funky vocoder sounds, rooted sabar and talking drum percussion, and feel-good space grooves. As one reviewer on Discogs described it:
“I bought this record from the band itself after a show in Heerlen, the Neherlands. This album is a great trip!. I am surprised this is so under the radar. They deserve much more attention! Buy (or at least listen) if you get the chance.”
